Hmm.. I must agree. Those food are such a waste. Buns can be kept for 1-2days and will still be edible(even taste great). Even milk can last 7day...

Well, I hope they will reconsider their stand..... or ensure they have no leftovers at the end of the day!

with or w/o low temps? I find pastries and buns tend to change textures at the end of the day, either getting all stick and the bread itself getting sweeter and damp due to deterioration.
usually throw away those buns that I've bought but not eaten after the 2nd day.
ot a bit but I know soy drinks become cheese after just one day at room temp, even those like vitasoy(yogurt soy).

well OT liao haha.. the main issue is still BreadTok is unwilling to give to charity.
So is the Mrs' Fields' cookies, they dump those sooo chocolatey, sooo butterscotchy, sooo yummy cookies with hazelnuts and pecans and chips and everything by the bags! staff get to *ahem* some, hence I knew about it... imagine a 500ml bag $1.50 full of mrs fields' cookies!

I don't believe the buns or whatever cannot be eaten the next morning. If they can't last 24 hours, then I think they should have signs pated allover the shop that state the 'expiry' of the food, like at sushi concessionaires where they state how long the food can last. or like SAF cookhouse, say food must be consumed within 4 hours. **I originally typed 24...... my goodness... all die of food poisoning liao**

If i am not wrong...should be 4 hours if the food is in the big container, or 2 hours once the food had taken out of the container

can be eaten, but will taste different... maybe I buy liao bring on seed let u try...
"freshness" is a competitive factor too...
cookhouse food is reheated from SFI, cannot leave out long, 4 hours u'll see bubbles at room temp (unless cold stormy evening)

Oh wow!! Then all you need to do is to ingest enough of the beef and you'll immediately speak the Queen's English!
