But first gather some people who are interested.

At least say what kinda shoot u have in mind so pple can decide if they're interested. If you don't want to fix a time/date as yet no prob, but at least have a general theme/some ideas, ie model shoot, nature/scenic shoot, street candid etc.

Something like this: Hello I stay in Jurong and I hope to gather a group of photographers to do some nature/scenic shooting at say Chinese Garden some time soon. Anyone interested?

Outdoor indoor photography is VERY vague. I like both, I don't mind joining outings, but how do I know if you're covering something I'm interested in? Hope u get my point here.

Because the thread in the kopitiam seems no one is interested in the meeting to discuss the outing that is why I started a thread.
Solarii -> Maybe u can start orgainising the outing as I got no experience in this.

1 little suggestion..

Perhaps a sunrise from jurong east and a sunset from jurong west will be interesting..
in between can try shooting at chinese gdns, japanese gdns, or ntu..

Now got 6 people can start organising outings near Jurong. Any ideas where to shoot or want to meet & discuss first. I any time can meet, SMS or email me before 1700hrs for location 2 -> 3persons also can. Either today, tomorrow or Sunday.
PS: no experience in organising outing.

but first i must confess.. i dun stay jurong, but near jurong..would be grateful if u guys agree to allow me joining the group..

Below are some suggestions for locations:
1.) Lake side
2.) NTU garden
3.) Jurong Point (events; 11th anniversary every wkend at least got something)


As for the suggestions by Redsun its rather good..but I think it would even more interesting if we can find locations that are free..the objective is to learn first..

the event starts at 5 so if interested juz post the time u can meet.tentative meeting place will be boonlay mrt for those who cant meet there,u can suggest some other place and we can meet there as well,after all,it'll prob be in west side right?
