Taken at lightning aka Victor's house late on sunday night. First photog to borrow camera + lens + mem card from client hehe... anyway Velcro was one little fire ball darting around the living room and it was very hard to get her to keep still.. Managed to squeeze some decent shots for you to see
To warm up here is another of the 'Flag' shots that i took. Only 2 can be posted online.. the third pic.. well.. ![]() She may look all sweet and innocent but she is still quite naughty and in the bitey phase. Victor bravely modled his hand in these few shots. ![]() ![]() More coming up... |

2 Portrait style pics... int his one she is looking at the toy above the scratchign post.
![]() Same idea in this one the only way to keep her still is to distract her with the toy. ![]() Here is a 100% crop form the eye area. 10D @ 400ISO with a 70-200 f/4 ( buy buy buy! ) You can see Victor's hand holding the cat toy for her.. ![]() Now for some action shots! Caught in mid-pounce! DIE ribbon! ![]() She charged from a diffrernt angle this time.. was lucky to get this shot. ![]() OK thats all for now. I hope the cleint likes the shots. hehe... |

My goodness. Well done raptor. Hehe. Cats -immediately- cease to be cute after they use my pants as a scratching post.
Wah.. charging money liao. All the best! Hope to see your pics up here =) QX |

Can I know what lens you used to shoot the closeup photos? I have an 18-70, but when I go that close the lens can't focus. Too far away and the subject doesn't fill up enough of the frame.

position and everything must be good. yeah learnt that when i took raptor's rented 30D and 70-200f4 to shoot as well. it's very good combination for shooting animals i must say. and this is his standard of works. i wouldn't mind getting you to shoot my cousin's dog. i hope you charge lesser for me!

Yeah, enjoyed the entire process.....really hard to get the cat into position. I must say "PATIENT" is the main attribute one must have to shoot animals especially young kitten!!
Raptor! A big thank you for all the Pics (You really have what it takes for this job)....cool job.... Hope this cutie will grow out of her bitting phase soon! Yeah...for those considering 70-200 f4, don't wait liao...this is my lens for animals! Considered the f2.8 version but it is way too heavy for prolong use via handheld! |
