What to look for when it comes to ROM/Wedding photography service?

would like to hear from the expert.

My solemization is in early July. Now started to look for 1 photographer for that half day event

However, I really have no idea what are the things they offer, most of them gave me so many things to look at, and how come some of the pictures are so clear, some are very normal looking? was it done via photoshop or is it the camera is very good?

A not so expert advise..

1.) Depends on wat u want.
2.) Ask for sample portfolios, seek the best tat is closer to ur requirement.

You are the customer, you should what you are looking for, ultimately, this is gonna be your very own wedding album.

The are different kind of styles of documenting of a wedding, and many ways to present it. Just look for the one (photographer) that pleases you most, cost shouldn't be a major issues, because this is a once a life time event, no retake, no reenact.

And also, you are buying the talents or skills of the photographer, no his/her cameras or gears, don't be too concern for what cameras he is using, should focus on what can he/she able to produce.

Do shop around, prices and services offered may vary and it's really up to you to choose a package which suits your needs and budget. Make sure the end product is what you want... coffee table book or prints or files or album... lots of possibilities. Looking at portfolios would be a great help on evaluating the work of a photographer.

May I know when is your solemnization day?

I would agree with the other members to not stinge when it comes to getting a videographer or photographer as this is really really once in a whole lifetime! I'm not saying this because I would like to earn your money but because I've seen unhappy couples before all because their wedding was "screwed". It's either their friend forgot to press the record button, only knows how to take photos using auto mode, blah blah blah..u name it.

I am offering my videography service for ROMs at a bargain price now and I've already sent it to you already. Do consider and let me know if you are interested.
