Hi Guys! Here's mine! Only managed to take 2 shots. Did some basic pp for the both. And included enhanced and basic pp for IR.
Nothing great, just for discussion purposes. #IR01 Basic IR pp w/ max method & ark's s-curve methol. ![]() #IR01b Basic IR pp (w/ max's method from the sticky thread) ![]() #IR02 Basic IR pp w/ max method & ark's s-curve methol. ![]() #IR02 Basic IR pp (w/ max's method from the sticky thread) ![]() So what can i do to improve? Which is better? Once again, thanks francis and seniors for your patient to explain details to me and ark for lending me the filter. |

The colours from the 2nd set of pictures looks nicer IMO.
For the 1st set, I feel that the water and the buildings had abit too much cast. But, thats the problem I'm having with my pictures too. |

Should say it's a very good first try. I find the pics with the added "S" curve better, with the contrast difference.
You can still get the trees a bit more white if you run the pic thru another round of H/S reducing the Red, Yellow and Magenta channels. But what you've achieved is good enough. Hope you don't mind, I did some adjustments to your pic. Reduced H/S, to get the trees a little whiter and added USM. ![]() |

IR01 is my preference.
I personally find teerex's version "too white" until details are blown ... sowhere in between would be perfect. |

Thanks for the tips. Ahhh... so that's how i get whiter tree! With the dreamy effect ark taught me... hmmm... guess after a few trys, i can get the effect i want. Heard alot abt you from the senior. Hope to see you next outing. Thanks Hweechwee! Hopefully next outing more exercise than sitting at macdonald. Thanks eawtan! I guessed because teerex had to work with the compressed version and the after pp pics that i posted here thus i think it's abit hard to control also. |

There are some posts saying that should redo that outing again. Want to shoot at that place again or somewhere else? Any suggestions. Our Shifu, photoexpress should be back in Sg this weekend. Ark and Francis, thanks for your efforts. |

I guess is the seasons. Anyway, we don't have much choice of seasons in Singapore - Rainy and sunny seasons.
