IR Outing #8 @ Kallang River

Here're some of my shots.

Nice meeting you guys, the weather wasn't in our favor though. Was hoping to shoot more. But wasn't too bad either, had great time trying out the real macro lens. Hope can attend the next outing.

Nice meeting you too! What a waste the weather is bad! If not the 2 pics will have beautiful skyline.

Yeah the weather was bad. Now I post process these 2 pictures and they look like night pictures with cloud.

I think most of the fun we had for was at Mcdonalds trying out macro and all the other discussions.

Yurh. Indeed the second pp looks like night shots. But i like the second batch lerh. The tress stands out more.

l0l! Stress lerh when you guys discussing abt the macro stuff. I simi mai buay hiaw, like mountain turtle.

Hmmm, maybe u shd try it too. I was wondering when can I afford an IR modded cam and use it for macros and portraits

2nd PP is better imho as the 1st PP is too bluish.

Yup I find it too bluish too. Was trying to make the sky slightly blue. But the reflection from the water and the buildings made it even more blue.

can not see is raining....if you can add lightning then people will believe...really not bad !

Some of them I desaturate more cos the colours look really bad. And the picture of the National Stadium with the Indoor Stadium had handshake blur even on tripod.

By the way, almost every outing to Kallang will rain one, just like Chinese Garden, will get cloudy or bad weather....

Dunno why?

The last time I went to chinese garden for IR alone had a bad weather too.

I feel that the black black sky sometimes make the pictures nicer since the other objects will be white or bright colours.

Nice meeting U2. Thanks for letting us try out ur reverseal ring.

Like ur 2nd set of picts as well as the B&W series. Maybe u can combine these 2 to get IR with super white trees.
