Excellent noise control at 3200 and 1600. The ultimate point and shoot.
What else can I say but

wow!! It is so much better than my F11 was. Imagine what they can do with some form of image stabilization.... they will CORNER the entire P&S market.
Best of all the threadstarter said the F11 focused without any assist lamp... wow again. with the s3pro it is hard for newbie like me to focus at such light at f2.8 without assist lamp. I think it is quite impossible actually... F30 looks really interesting. When will it be for sale?? Last edited by wind30; 29th May 2006 at 08:11 AM. |

and from the looks of it, seems like it will fit the Underwater Housing of the F10/F11.

Compared to a similarly speced ixus or FX, is the F30 cheaper? I would actually rather have it abit more expensive and accomodate an image stabilizer and a bit more frills.
Reading the thread from dpreview, looks like packy got some things wrong. He's comparing the A700 to the F30, which are both in different classes or cameras. At first they were comparing the F30 to the SD700, which are more similar than the A700 to the F30. |

Hi guys, so the F30 confirm dont have the aperture priority and the shutter speed priority adjustment? Pretty disappointed if it doesnt equip it with these functions....

Skillful photographer but camera produces painterly, waterfall-like high ISO shots.
