the first 2 seems under to me.. and perhaps u might wanna frame the merlion using the rule of thirds rather than at the edge of the frame?

Hi Yeah i think my merlion is underexposed too
and i was trying to get the merlion with the water in the sea/river/ocean .. i have another picture of the merlion.. i'll post it up later..and for the 2nd pic.. i took that at ard 7ish when the sun is juz up and that was the "morning" effect.. thx for the comments anyways cheers
