I've read about how such shots are done before... they mentioned smth abt NOT turning the engine on at all and getting someone to push the car as the vibrations from the engine would ruin the long exposure shot.

    hi guys,

Fortunately no broken windows, i am very careful when installing the suctions on cars, just broken equipment(s), when it falls off and when the connectors collapse.

It is unlikely that such shots can be taken when the car is being pushed, the car has to going reasonably fast, if not opening the camera's shuttle too long will over expose the picture. And besides, going too slow will not get rotation of the wheels. Maybe adding filters but thats not how i take them.

The whole point of going through all the trouble is to capture the wheels rotating, if not just put the camera on the ground and photoshop the surrounding blurr.

    regards.

I know your shots are not Photoshopped and was complimenting you. It is not easy to shoot them and you have done a very good job.

    hi litefoot,

This set up that I have is really a little too complicated to use. I know it looks simple but really quite dangerious. I only use it for my video shoots.

I have another simplier suction system that works much better for Photo Cameras.

If you are interested, I can possibly rent you that and teach you how to use that.

    regards.

    Hi REV,

Sorry, I no clue who conducts photoshop classes, I learn from tutorial and books. I think you can try that as well, it is really not very difficult, just lot of practise. Maybe you wanna try Photoshop Elements first.

Thanks for letting me use the KR photo, http://www.carareok.com/blog/index.php/p1450.

    Regards.
