Default A Morning At Pasir Gudang With ST Micro Bike Club

This was the outing organised by Friday13 on 24 May 06 (refer to this thread http://forums.clubsnap.org/showthread.php?t=194717 ). Had a good day and enjoy shooting these speed demon.

Here's some of my shots:

Mr Friday13 or the "White Plo"

His teammate, Mohd, a veteran and very experienced racer. Never let his age fool you (above 50 man)

thanks for sharing man... nice bikes =)

technically, they're well executed, especially nice job with the bikes comin out of the corner... but i feel the composition of the panning is a bit repetitive from the position U were shooting from...

just a nitpick & personal preference, the colors look too clean slightly higher contrast would inject these pics with a little more attitude like the riders have.

Looks like Mohd was the only 'most-photogenic' rider pushin it that day.... U can see him leaning into the curve more than the others... wonder if there's more shots.

Thanks for tips, appreciate it.

Yes it is rather repetitive as I did not move much and it was a short shoot, ok I am just plain lazy to move

This was my first time to Pasir Gudang and shooting bike, it was a good experience. Though the experience of going there wasn't good, got a ticket from the JB police for speeding on a congested road. At first I was told my speed was 96kph then it was changed to 85kph etc ( I am sure I was doing 60-70), the other vehicle in the convey directly in front of me was not stopped. sighz, maybe the Forester I was driving made it a target. Next time I will drive my van.

Anyway thanks again for the input and overly flattering remarks from the usual gang.

I have done some editing based on Rev input and hope it is better.

Hi PE,
Nice shots. Must have been a sizzling hot day.

Physical - Graffiti,
normal cars are allowed in PG but you may need a helmet. Need to check with the track if the track is booked for private use. If not, there is timing for cars and bike to run separately for safety reasons.

Applying birding techniques to shoot steel horses - well done.
