Question Group Photo

Dear Olympians,my close friend have requested me to take a group photo of his family gathering of 55 people.How shall I do this pls provide me some guidelines such as:

camera settings
equipments needed besides camera
I have a E300+FL50+kits lens+OM 50mm lens
place outdoor
people adults + kids

OM lenses are not straight forward to use, becareful.

you need to find somewhere with steps,easier to work that way.
Imagine a classroom of pupils around 30paxs,add in 25 more and it will be alot.

A ladder or chair would be very helpful in this situation. Elevate yourself so that you can see everyone's faces.
