Default How to shoot artworks for publication?

Just wondering, what is the best setup to shoot artworks in Museum, art studios, etc... so that the quality of the artwork image is "perfect" for printing?
What type of flash/lighting system to apply? Of course tripod is ideal.
Then how about those expensive artpieces where they are glass-framed? How to shoot to prevent reflection?
Any pro can give some tips here?

There's a book in the national library that touches on just shooting artworks.
