G'day everyone.
It's been two weeks for me now since arriving in Alice Springs, and the weather is just great... blue skies and good sunlight. Only nit is that it's coming to winter here and the temps are getting really cold, especially in the early mornings and late evenings when it's best for photography. My first image to share with everyone from Australia must be an icon image. Yes.. I have chosen the icon animal of Australia, and this specific walleroo in the image is special because it was the very first kangaroo that I saw here; eventhough it is not a technicall good image. The Wallaroo (Euro or hill kangaroo) is a common kangaroo in Australia. But it is very skittish, especially when the light is good. When dusk or dawn, they are less skittish and one can approach quite near, but nearly impossible to photograph in the darkness.
