All the white fur animals are turning brown at S'pore Zoo!

I went there on 14 May and saw the white tigers and polar bears were much more brown than they were when I went previously in Sep 2005.

Wondering whether it's seasonal change or permanent?

I could be seasonal...why don't you go back this September and take a look at them again?

Do you know the furs are actually not white....they are colorless needle like tubes with a hollow core.
This scatter light and makes them look white....remember that ice is colorless and because of the same phenomenon....ice looks white...in snow...

Younger ones looks whiter then the older ones......

Correct. That's why some time back the polar bears turned green. Because algae was growing inside the hollow hair shafts.

The fur could also just be dirty since the animals do lie on dirt/sand.
