C-4000? Bought a 2nd hand unit to try out for a while when my C-3040Z died.
Overall, I find it quite a nice camera with pretty good image quality but really made me missed the C-3040Z's much faster F1.8 lens, deeper image buffer and built quality. Well, both cameras are equally slow when it comes to shutter lag anyway, so I let it go after a few months and got the very nice C5050Z. Back to the topic, you want a SM card? They are rare as hen's teeth nowadays. ![]() Probably the only way is to buy 2nd hand at places such as Yahoo Auctions or try shopping around Sim Lim, you may get lucky but chances are, the pricing will be very ridiculous (expensive). |

Just sold mine away. As for the SMC, you can try Sim Lim, Harvey Norman, Best Denki, Big, and etc. I saw them still selling it.

well, i gave my c4000 to my relative in china. i must say it is a good camera to own. i enjoy every moment with it. but it come to a time when the media card cannot contain all the photo i need to take and very costly to buy a smartmedia card.
i have to let it go. it is a little slow . i must agree, but the photo quality is next to nothing. i enjoy the super macro. now, they dun make camera like that anymore. that is the last (made in japan)camera i have. the bad thing is that it has a very high power comsumption rate. i have just invest in sp350. (just for the size of it) since i have a e300 already. |

i used a c-4000 a lot b4 changing to a c-5060. it was a v gd camera that gave me many memorable photos. really liked the 32-96mm f2.8 lens on the c-4000.
