Use photoshop Play with the layer

Make it to two layer of the photo and use lasso tool to cut out the pic that u want to me color other layer make it b/w

hey erickwan1989, i tried making a pic black and white with a subject still in color. but i just cant achieve your auntie type photo. i used lasso and cropped out the subject that i want it to be in color, yes, and i selected grayscale for the other layer that i want to b&w. but instead both layers still become grayscale. how do i affect 1 layer only. i think i just missed out a step or something. thanks

Don't select grayscale. Instead desaturate the layer...

first duplicate layer
next select lasso tool and mark out the part where u want it to be in colour
right click in the part and click layer via copy
now go to image,desaturate

and there u go..
