I'm afraid Epson SG does not seem to bring in VFA. For "normal" A3+ paper, Ruby has them. For the more "artsy" papers, Cathay sells Hahnemuhle, but be warned about the sticker shock...

Watcher is right. I called up Epson 2 mths back and was told they do not bring in this paper. I think you might need to order from overseas then. Are you gonna use it to print BW images?

Hey Watcher, what's this sticker shock abt?
Thanks.

That applies to most products which CP sells... disappointing.

Challenger Funan also carries a surprisingly wide range of A3 and A3+ photo papers. Might as well pop in since it's in the photo district anyways.

Thanks All for the help. Wah....Can't even pronounce this "Hahnemuhle" think! Is it so expensive? eg A4 size cost how much, is this cotton paper or canvas, from USA? Only Cathay has it, how about fine art stores ?

Hahnemuhle is pronounced "Honey muller"

They have a wide range of papers and has been manufacturing paper in Europe for more than 600 years They have cotton rag, canvas and other wide variety of papers. All 3 printer manufacturers are asking them to make special art paper for them as well.

Cathay is a reseller in SG, Convergent is the distributor. Let me check out their prices

Please pardon my ignorance. I notice several of the inkjet manufacturers talking about "fine art" papers. What are these, and what are they good for?

i printed a bunch of A2 prints for an exhibition recently with museuo silver rag. i would say they are really 'sensitive' especially towards shadow areas with little details, so you would have to take note of the dynamic range that they are capable of before using it. definitely one of my personal favourites, next to watercolor paper/radiant white.

Hi guys.
Yes, we are the Distributor for Hahnemuehle paper and EastGear and Cathay Photo is our dealer for these papers.

I understand that these papers are not cheap and to make matter worst freight for papers is also a big issue as well. If really interested, do talk to EastGear or Cathay Photo while we figure way out to bring in these papers in a more economic way.
Support for these papers are available via Triston Yeo and Alex Soh of www.theredtree.sg.
Alex and Triston are two photographer whom Hahnemuehle has endorse in Singapore through us.
They have throughly test various papers from Hahnemuehle with both our local climate and humdity with Epson/Canon/HP LFP for the past 2 years.

We are currently in planning phase to arrange for Alex and Triston to hold a "coffee session" for those (clubsnap members) who are interested in Fine Art printing. More details will be annouce in the coming weeks.

Regards.

Hi,

A few months ago I brought back some Crane Museo Silver Rag from the US. This is an interesting paper. It has a slightly yellowish tint which gives b&w a warmer tone. I am using the Epson 3850. IMHO, it is better for b&w than for colour.

I am now in the US and will be getting some Innova, Moab, Harman Glossy FB and Inkpress papers for testing. Unfortunately, I could not find any Epson Fiber Exhibition paper. It is a pity there are so few varieties of high quality papers in Singapore.

if you are looking at Harman Glossy FB, maybe you can look out for Hahnemuhle Fine Art Baryta and Ilford Galerie Gold Fibre Silk as well...
