    well done.

i think the best buy among souney's many great signing in newcastle has got to be scott parker. he's really solid, in the mould of xabi alonso.
a pity they all turned into sickbags the minute they pull on the jersey of newcastle utd.

i doubt he has this release clause of 12m quid. Doesnt make sense for Newcastle to sign him for 17m quid mid season and agree to such a clause..

scott parker is more like SG actually, in fact i was hoping Liverpool will sign him when he left Charlton. It will be a very good pairing with him and SG. well, blessing in disguise as now we have alonso, who is more complementary to SG and have better passing.

Quite sure we will sign someone.. Kuyt and defoe is the most frequently mentioned. Cisse may still leave also...

I kinda like cisse to stay as i think he has the quality and have begin to buy into Rafa's gameplan and start to work harder..

Too bad Morientes could not find his scoring boots with Liverpool. Now, Liverpool must sign a top striker, if not we'll be seeing the same old scoring woes again next season. In fact I'll be happy even if Liverpool get Owen back.

i know i won;t be happy to see mickey owens back. anyway with benitez in charge, there's 0 chance of mickey signing for Liverpool becos Beni will never move in for him again after he publicly snubbed us to join Newcastle for 16million quids.

craig bellamy is sounded out as a possible signing. oh no..................

So long Morientes! He didn't set Anfield alight but he worked hard and deserve a standing ovation for his service nonetheless.

Now, who's in? So long liao. Thought rafa trying to settle the transfers before WC? Somehow we always find it hard to get the players we want. Every club tries to scalp us.

Yeah.. would love to see Garcia sucking his thumbs more often..

Btw Benitez's initial priority is to secure Brazilian full-back Daniel Alves from Seville. It is believed a 7million bid has been made, but there could be work permit problems there because the player has not yet played for Brazil.

Feyenoord's Dirk Kuyt is not believed to be at the top of Benitez's list despite suggestions to the contrary from the Dutch striker, while David Villa of Valencia, Darren Bent, Jermaine Defoe and Craig Bellamy are being considered.
