Hi CS mates,
I was wondering whether there is a way to set 3200 as the highest limit for the auto ISO mode on D200. I've seen 1600 so was wondering whether that's possible to set to 32. Thanks! ML |

3200 is HI-1 on the camera setting.
But to what I remember, the Auto setting can only go to 1600. Hope that helps. |

Thanks espn.
I know abt the Hi-1. Was just wondering whether that Hi-1 can be set as highest limit in the Auto ISO setting... Why? ....it just gives more flexibility...since 32 exist why not put it to 32 as limit, instead of 16. thanks! |

The HI-1 is just a name for the ISO3200, it's not really an ISO standard. The options are just there. Just like HI-1, HI-2 for D100. The ISO1600 is the highest for the D200, so the option is limited to 1600 as the highest in AUTO.
Frankly, I normally don't go above 800 unless I intentionally want the output from 1600 ![]() |

Custom Setting b1: ISO Sensitivity Auto Control If On is selected for this option, the camera will automatically adjust ISO sensitivity when necessary to help ensure optimal exposure. This option is not available at ISO sensitivities over 1600. |
