Hi,
I've seen some people reverse mount a 50mm lens on their canon compact cams to take macro shots. I'm just wondering if its possible to do the same with a CP5400. I know that nikon sells some adaptors for the 5400 but these seemed to be designed only for mounting the coolpix's own range of lenses. It would be great if anyone can shed some light, cos my 5400 is quite neglected since my D70 arrived. ![]() Thanks! |

Yesh.. can be done. You need the nextphoto 52mm adaptor ring, then get a reverse ring (IIRC) that reverses the 52mm thread, then mount the 50mm reversed.

Thanks for the info!
Any idea where the nextphoto 52mm adaptor ring is sold? I know that the reverse ring seems common enough. |
