Question about Lowerpro AW cover

Hello,

i have a Minitrekker AW and a Rover AW II. i was slowly examining the bags.. then i realised somethin abt the cover. it seems its sewed on inside out.to know what i'm saying, if u do have one of these bags, u'll see that after u put on the cover, the underneath of the sewed portion of the cover rims are actually facing outside.. same for both bags. isnt it supposed to be the other way round?

is it meant to be like that? its not so straight foward like the slingshot, where there's a logo when u put on the cover. the glossy surface is on the inside. well, please advise.. juz found it kinda weird..
