the blue is too rich. Making everything look like copy and paste.Others than the sky everything is okay. Perhaps you want to change the yellow tint to be more orange? Blue works very well with orange.

Nice composition. However, I think these IR photos should be converted to Black & White.
They should not be left in colour because the colour distortion is too stark. A good photo should give the viewer a good impression... and take their breath away. Colour distortions can be used constructively to give the viewer the impression that the place is out of this world. Unfortunately, the subjects are too mundane to be out of this world. Hence the outlandish colour makes the picture look wrong. I think anyone who wish to keep the colour in IR pictures should choose your subjects carefully. Tropical trees in snowy white and autumn yellow just look wrong to me... if you know what I mean. |
