Anyone knows where to get a screen protector for the E-330? Didn't know the screen scratches so easily, got a few scratches now, under normal use.

You should have know, always get LCD protector stickers for any digital camera!
You can buy one of those 'standard' screen protector stickers for digital camera LCD. I buy from the IT shop inside MPH Bookstore Robinson Road actually, as it is near my office and the prices are amazing cheap, at only $8 each (comes with cleaning cloth and sticking aid as well). You can either get a 2.5" protector sticker or a slightly larger 2.7" sticker so that it overlaps the LCD screen and protects the 'frame' around the screen as well. |

hi, koolz, i've got a screen protector for my e-330 in the first week of use. got the E-500 one and trimmed it myself. the lcd protector designed for E-500 is slightly too big for e-330 lcd.
or you can get those suggested by tao and trim it. should be ok. |

hi bro, i highly recommend u go any pasar malam or shops selling handphone and pda stuff.
for E-330, i bought a atom O2 pda screen protector 4 only $5- and it fits perfectly or any other as long its 2.5 inch! no need to waste $$ buying those xpensive so call 'camera lcd protector' . its more convenient 2 find 1 of diz shops then a cam shop, even can customise da size by cutting it urself. my 2 cents ![]() |

I bought an EXiM screen protector (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=7618336273) though it's quite costly. When i first bought my camera, there isn't any especially for the E-330, so i bought for the model E-500 & trim it down. My friend whom used my camera told me, "U better put on a screen protector, coz the screen should have some form of protection..." He cannot see the screen protector is there even after he looked at it many times, this expensive one is so thin, so transparent, adhere so well that you can't see it's exsistence, the corner fits so well it doesn't look like there is a firm on it. It looks like the original screen surface & finishing. |

For my E500, I got a screen protector meant for PSP. Cut it in half and it fits leaving a 1 mm border on the LCD. Works for me. Think I got it < $10, but got 2 for the price of 1. Can share with friends with the 500 or 330.
The protector seems to be of the 'heavy duty' kind though, degrade the view tremendously. Thus not doing justice to glorious playback previews. Hope this helps. Have a good long weekend. |

I bought from Daiso in IMM mall Jurong East S$2 screen protector that is meant for portable VCD/DVD players' screens. Not sure if they are still selling it now but for two bucks that's a lot of screen protector in one pack! Used it on my Canon Powershot and it's quite lasting. Better than the come-with-my-E330-package-deal screen protector. Thicker and sticks on more uniformly. Might be too thick for touch-sensitive screens like on PDAs.

There were moments I thought I've "damaged" the surface - but I was glad all is well with the LCD. Maybe somehow the QC these days are not as good as those previously made, maybe "made in China" products has some qc issues... |

. Yes, I've been very careful with them - still I found scratches on them - But then again, my current Siemens phone had been without "protector" for 6-9 months and still it is scratch-free while all my previous mobile LCD was not spared... I don't know why. So, I believe it has something to do with the manufacturers' QC ... If I ever upgrade to the e330, I'll get a protector for good ![]() |
