Yeah.. lens with interchangable color cover.. different color based on the type of photos you are taking..

then 10 colors, then another 10 is LIMITED EDITION... as usual, Its a Sony... maybe can add... - Black - White - Pink - Blue - Orange - Silver - Gold - Red den LE ones, Luminous watever, or Pearly watever...

If Sony makes 20 lens, literally... then its really limited edition already... cos only 1 year 20 pcs were made... WORLDWIDE!!! kaoz... each lens will be like 10-20k range...

Spray paint works wonders.
Those guyz in Nikon/Canon did that with their super-teles and a roll of gaffer. Ours are a more... 'permanent' solution.

Just my thought. Sony should be releasing current avaliable Minolta lens as follow. Any new Lens should come next year. By rebranding and improving current Lens is alot easy and faster to market time.

there is one sweet spot that Sony should make it cheaper. the 17-35/2.8G . the price of this lens turned me off abit as it is one of the important lenses where quality must be top-notch, not like a rebranded 17-35/2.8-4
