    what's the diff ah...

SLR can change lens but DC cannot change lens... besides that most of the manual functions available on SLR should also be available on high-end DC's...

All wrong, a DSLR uses a reflex system where the same lens is used for viewing and capturing the image, be it with a normal mirror like most SLRs or a pellicle mirror like the Olympus E10, and of course uses a digital format to store images.

Your ................. is making me dizzy

A normal DC uses the CCD to capture a live view through the lens and present it to the LCD monitor.

A SLR uses a mirror or a reflex mechanism of some sort to route the image obtained through the lens to a viewfinder. IN the case of a mirror, it is flipped out of the way when the exposure is made.
