But flatter?

When I first handled the Dynax 7D, I thought it was very intelligent and intuitive. Whoever thought of putting the most commonly handled stuff... ISO, EV, metering modes all outside and yet not jumble the entire camera up?

Of cos, was still using my EOS 300D that time and was a little envious where Minolta stood.

Have you folks noticed, at the bottom of the message from the Yutaka Nakagawa, it says " known globally as Alpha/Maxxum/Dynax" Which seems ot imply to me that depending on the country or region it will be called either Alpha, Maxxum or Dynax

What do you folks think?

With Sony Power $ back ground + self produce sensor and KM innovative ideas for camera, C n N might be facing a problem in the future. Esp AS in the body reduce the lens prices compare to C n N lenses, that is a + pt. KM lens not lousy type, still got a standard but the price, can be half or less than C n N. Wishing future Minolta body n lens will become popular again.

Wait till Sony releases the DSLR than we can say. They haven't release any specification we can compare with. Anyway I hope it's a good DSLR.

umm those three brand words are used during KM's time in different regions. couldn't see why sony would want to keep different brand names for different regions now. alpha is a good brand name!

Hmm... Alpha in Japan, Maxxum in Europe, Dynax in Asia/US. I dun really care abt the naming convention (like what EOS 300D is to Digital Rebel).

Juz gimme a good camera~~~~~~

If I'm in your shoe, I will wait and see what Sony can produce.
