    Default Anyone noticed the recent strong Sing dollars?

    It's 1USD to S$1.57 now.. few days back was even lower. wow.. seems like it went up before 911 level.

    Today it is $1.5623.
    Does it means we can pay less for new cameras ?

    nope. cos the prevailing exchange rates by the banking and financial institutions dun necessarily reflect the same exchange rate. those who buy things from ebay will realise this.

    well, the strongest we had at one time.. up to 1997 is 1.4.. When will we ever get that rate again??

    I dun anticipate SGD$1.40 : USD$1 now.

    I think we'll all be damn lucky if it creeps to SGD$1.50 : USD$1.

    Hope with this kind of exchange rate, we are gonna get our lenses and camera at a good price.

    Things aren't getting cheaper. Or at least the savings aren't being passed to consumers like us anyway.

    The only thing hurting is my foreign FD accounts... and my pocket coz of rising fuel prices.

    hmmm can buy us items with the low exchange rate ,

    any 1 has experience in using the vpostusa to purchase items , eg camera stuff, scooba vacum cleaner etc?
