just sharing, had a fair bit of crits and comments from some friends, but would like to hear others views as well.

Hey, how did you achieve such a clean and bright background? Shot in the studio? Do you do it for living..maybe you can share with us, how these were done..TIA

Clean and nice. Not easy to take bottle actually. I tried that and learn it the hard way . ANyway, do you use light tent for these shots?

hello~ thanks for the comment. hahaha newbie attempt. *Embarrased*

well uh no, didn't use light tent, what is that?

i used an a2 poster's back for the background and just shined one light and shot.. there's another light farther on the left side (table one) and one aluminum foil on the right side ^^;

a bit lame, but like couldn't get enough light so try everything for fun anyway. couldn' really do big setup also because i couldn't go more than 1m radius away from my computer because i've no CF card

the first image gotta show the shining top, its too dark.

the second image lost the name. becareful.

Interesting setup, very nice try from a newbie. Make me want to try this kind of photography also.


Light tent is the squarish thing in the picture below.

Well, it is my company one. But I am the only user for it lor. It make some of the shoot easier to control some how. Nxt time want to try can go my office try lor. Long time no play wit it liao.. too busy at work. You give me inpiration to take one thing from this light tent soon ^_^

Wow, considering your set up as you have mentioned, this is a very good result. Did you do a lot of PS with it?

well did abit. mostly to clear away the shadows, because it was like neither here nor there. and i wanted to try it as a bit of clean product shot style rather than still life frame and take.. and er. i cropped the shots lah. hahhaa

Usually when we're shooting glass products, it is the reflection which can make or break the shot. In your case there's little distracting reflection. Good take

thank you thank you~ wlil attempt again next time when i get the CF card and can more around more rather than being tied to my computer, had to put the thing on a chair to shoot, hahaha.
