    My 1st attempt to capture landscape shot from inside of an airplane. Appreciate your C&C

    ISO100, 1/60 @ f/8.0, Manual setting, Partial meter, WB 5800K, EF17-40mm f/40L

    i think you were trying to get everything in the frame. personally, if you had shot this in landscape as opposed to portrait orientation, that would have made it less congested. secondly bringing more of the winding river at the bottom of your frame into focus, including the orangey hue of the clouds (without the blue sky - yes that's nice) would have had a better effect.

    i prefer the framing of the original picture, and i prefer more contrast as well, but these are my preferences.
