Have you guys seen this article :

Don't worry that much about new memory format, it is likely you and me will change the digicam sooner or later, no one will own a particular digicam forever. (This is the part of the cost of high tech.)

It's a bad idea now to get any Sony products that supports the current memory stick. You never know what will happen to your product when the new memory stick pro comes out.
