Horseman 3D on Fuji TX-2 Body

Horseman is releasing a 3D camera based on the Fuji TX-2 body later this year. It's an interesting piece of news considering that Fuji announced that the TX-2 will be discontinued and will not be available as soon as current stocks run out.

Both the TX-2 and Xpan II have been discontinued. The 30mm lens is still hovering at its current price though I foresee an increase in the future. IMO, it's not worth the $$. One can get most situations covered with the 45 and 90.

Yes, I do agree that the price of 30mm is way out and I only settled with 45mm and 90mm.
But it is an intesting lense (30mm) with rather limited quantities in the market thou.

I had one for a while and found it to be cumbersome as compared to the 45, the hood and the finder were bulky. The perspective it offered was wider than the 45 but it didn't seem to suit my style of composition in most situations. All 3 lenses are equally good so I'm not sure why people are raving about the 30mm, perhaps it's because of its relatively rarity that makes folks want to talk about it maybe.

I think it is human nature (including myself) to opt for something rare :-)

I hv been keeping a few wide-angle lenses - for no practical reason thou - a Contax-G 16mm, a Voigtlander 12mm/5.6 with m-adaptor, a 20mm Nikkor-AFD plus a 24mm/2.8 elmarit-m asph.

I can attest to that, especially the CV 12/5.6. Up till recently, I had 2 of them sitting around, 1 chrome and 1 black. The chrome was just sold but I have no idea why I'm keeping the black one since I know I'm never ever going to be using it.
