First of all, you should be aware this is a Singapore based site and your questions might be better answered on a UK based site.
About camera choice, read up on specifications and reviews on the net like dpreview.com. Try handling the cameras in stores to get a feel. The more reputable US stores are B&H and Adorama. Read the included item list on the online store site on what the item includes. Usually the addition of the word "kit" means a lens (for SLR and DSLR) is included. Shipping costs are based on weight and location and I believe should not cost more than US$100 from US to UK. UK Customs may impose VAT on the declared value of the purchased item, which you need to consider as part of the cost of item. Last edited by CY_OH; 30th April 2006 at 02:32 AM. |
