macrh just bought Hoya 77mm UV filter S$50. today buy Tokina 77mm UV filter S$18...

just think y this 2 filter price are big difference... any one can tell ?? or me kena chop??

It depends on the details of the filters, like Hoya's Super HMC > HMC > normal.
Different brand also cost quite defferent sometime also.

not sure if its cheaper anywhere else

Where did you get the tokina at $18?
is it multicoated ?
both inside and outside?

Tokina is actually a Hoya filter repackage as Tokina.

actually can buy online at www.fotodiox.com they have multi coated UV for $10USD 77mm. Multi coated 77mm SLIM UV is $16USD before shipping.
