Default how to protect the exterior surface camera & lenses

anyone can offer some suggestions? what kind of tape to buy to gaffer the equipment? where to buy? thank you.

best protection is to leave camera in dry box and don't touch it. but if you insist on using it, most people just handle it with care, some will wrapped the camera and lens with gaffer tape.

I prefer to use it as it is but carefully. I find gaffer tape a real pain.

this forum sometimes can interesting suggestions If I keep in dry cabinet, don't need protection.

To gaffer it especially those parts that prone to scrtaches is my preference, but don't seems to find the tape around
