Tried it already, don't really like the UI, and the fact it cannot run off my 12" PB

yeah its a shame, nice idea, shame about the bugs, also i see they dropped the price in the states to USD$299 or SD$473, shame that singapore apple shops still thinks its okay to charge SD$588 for it.

Aperture really requires a G5 or newer chip to perform decently. It runs pretty slowly on my 1.67 G4.

Might be time to consider Lightbox.

Are you refering to Adobe Lightroom???

But it's still a beta version yet... wonder will it be a freeware or a shareware once it is launch?

Yes it's still in Beta... Beta 2 to be exact. And your point is?

Full release will probably be payware.

Yes.. i hear they are going to recompile it for the Apple Newton so it will then compete with the epson P2000 and similar devices..

oh come on guys.. that's about as likely as Apple killing off apperture.. it is very rare for a company of that stature/size to kill off a product after a first release, give them time, if they go the wrong direction and don't listen to customers feedback, then sure, that is a sign of it going away.. but look at the 1.1 release, it solved many many issues customers were having.. it's still not perfect, but it does 95% of everything I need in my workflow, and if i need more i push it out to a specialist tool to do that bit..

wake up and smell the coffee.. sheesh..

Oh goody, glad I still have my Newton. Moxy, when is the release date for the Newton version? Do you think they'll have one for the Lisa? I might still have it somewhere if my mom hasn't thrown it out yet? Man, you're just full of good news today, you've really made my day. Thanks and *hugs*.
