I took this pic for my new friend while she was sitting at the back seat of my car! Pls. comment! Thanks so much!

Hi JoanneC, the flash is too direct on her face and the focus is a bit off; otherwise your friend makes a good model.

You can try to lower down the flash by using the flash compensation function on your E500 or soften the intensity with diffuser.

For spot-on focus, you can actually brace your camera against the door to fire off.

I agree.. some parts of your friend's face is "burned out" by the strong flash, making the lighting look harsh on her... Tried bouncing the flash 45/60 degrees with diffuser/bounce card?

But then again, it was a candid shot so i'll rest my case
