Of course it is horrendous, it's been translated via babelfish, can't expect much from automatic translations.

Isn't it better to visit http://www.mamiya.com/ and maybe post a question to their info desk than to try to read something unreadable?

many thanks to Pai and others for tipping us off.

no wonder I saw so many Mamiyas and lenses put out on Peninsula 2nd hand shops today.
There were SO MANY that it was strange.

yeah man, suddenly 2nd hand Mamiyas appearing ALL OVER the shop.
As if the owners knew well beforehand and are dumping as fast as they can.

dunno what cathay will do with their agent stocks of mamiya.

will it be a fire sale, at 1/10 price for brand new goods?

so how can 2nd hand mamiyas sell?

And yet the 2nd hand sellers wanted very high prices for them. silly.
saw one in TCW and the consignment seller wanted about same price as you can get from cathay brand new.

mind you that was before this announcement.
after this, cathay may sell brand new way below the price of the consignment RB in TCW.

the RB is OK as a camera. it is just a victim of the times.
