Default Closeup filter +2 or +4

Hi all i need some advise.

intend to get a Hoya closeup filter to fit onto a Tamron 28-75mm lens, minimum focusing distance 33cm.
purpose is to photograph detailed macros of small objects like handphone. should i get the +2/+3 or +4 ? should i use 70-200mm instead?

anyone with sample of this combination? thanks.

Different power of closeup filter are optimised for different focal lengths. I suggest you use 2 element closeup lenses for better optical quality. Canon has the 250D (+4)and 500D (+2), Nikon has the 3T/5T (+1.5), 4T/6T (+3). You will need to test them yourself on your two lenses to see which one gives you the effect you desire.

If u have to get close up filters, get the +4 one. I'm using 2 of these stacked up on my 50mm.
