    hmm.. critique please.

    1. I don't understand why you chose a green coloured 'flower' to be the subject when you have a more attention grabbing coloured 'flower' in the background. green is associated to leaves and leaves being the decoration to the hero (flower bud).

    maybe you're trying to be different by making the green 'flower' the hero, but don't distract the viewer by providing alternatives.

    2. what is that huge red thing at the bottom? actually i don't need to know. all i want to know is why is it in the frame?

    3. why are you shooting at f5.0? less detail to the background the better.

    conclusion, choice of subject matter and composition does not make for interesting subject.

    I liked the composition but my eyes was drawn to the orange flower at the back instd. so it wld be better not to focus on the green on infront due to e bkgrd too.

    I think the composition is fine, but the red background at the bottom right is distracting. also adjust the DOF will bring out the subject more.
