Default 50mm reverse macro vs DCR-250

I am using an S1 and want to do more macro (I have a +4 close-up filter only).

Which option should I go for?

1. Get a 50mm lens (cheaper option)
2. Get a Raynox DCR-250 (more ex, but not so bulky)
3. Any other suggestions?

TIA.

Yeah.. I guess so. Budget is a little impt to me, but if the Raynox DCR-250 is less bulky, might want to consider that.
