Suggestion: to start sub-forums on bags, tripods, etc...

Suggestion: to start sub-forums on lens, bags, tripods/ballheads, filters, flash, maintainance (drybox, cleaning techniques and equipments), storage (memory cards & portable drives) with respective FAQ. all of the above are commonly asked and discussed items that appears all the time, in the past, now and in the future. the categorisation is very useful and opens up wide viewership as many people using different brands camera would discuss on the same things and without using too much bandwidth doing searches where these items are scattered everywhere. i believe it is as useful as, if not more than, the categorisation of camera bodies into brands and the galleries into different themes.

the lens is another big category of discussion that can be divided into general, macro, wide angle & fish eye, street/portrait, tele and special lens.

i hope to see more forumers support this idea by posting here and hopefully the admin will consider that.

Sounds like a good idea. But I guess the main issue for them would be to look for suitable Moderators to take care of the section.

There is already a section under the 'Equipment Discussions' titled as 'Others'. I saw some perm thread on Lowepro stuffs. Maybe a more obvious thread titled as 'Carrying Case' or something....

the Buy&Sell thread on CS is really terrible!
all things jumbled together - very hard to navigate and find the things you want.
It is one of the fastest moving threads in CS forum, so please, do something about it!

it depends on the amt of regulations that is needed. something like that of B&S regulations, problem with oversized attachment and "brand" war. i think these items does not require that much of maintanence are something that is often less discussed but should be more discussed.
