Accounts deregistered: dngcheewai and ngcwd

To all CS members,

The CS admin and mod team has come to an agreement to deregister the accounts of dngcheewai and ngcwd.

Reason: We have information that strongly indicates the 2 accounts are registered by the same person, and the owner has used the different nicks for bid padding his own sales in the B&S forum.

We understand that some members may have pending transactions with the person behind these 2 nicks, and we appologize sincerely for any inconvenience caused.

Lucky me... I brought a CPL from him, but the other nickname didn't bid. Guess the 2nd CPL market price is quite fixed.

and he cross posted... using the wrong account...

but should the mod post his HP number too? His actions was fairly dishonest and there is nothing to stop him from registering another nick.

he won't be the first to do so, neither the last. and, in all honesty, the mods and admin can't do much abt it (and police it) anyway, simply becos dats the way forum boards are. oh well....

err... but I think it is much more inconvenient to change HP no than nick... The idea is that it must be MORE inconvenient for the offender than for the mods so that the offender will give up

Ultimately, what is the motivation behind deregistering the nicks?

Deterrent right? Safeguarding the interest of other CSers in B&S? Sending out a message?

kind of curious what is the motivation behind the deregisteration?

Then you can judge if posting of HP no is more effective than plain deregisteration.

Hmm, I also think if I want to use multi nick what nick should I use? Must it be something similar so ppl can easily recognize one?
