Just my thought, I might be wrong. For pic 2 & 3, do u think cropping away the out of forcus foreground leaving more head room on the top will make the pics look better?
Pic 1 & 4 are a little too centre to me, if can go down lower to get a eye level shot would be better, but that means getting ourselves dirty. ![]() |

The 1st pic is taken by my Sony PnS digicam. The remaining 3 pics are taken by my EOS 30 with the tamron 28-300. All pics are also uncropped.

I would prefer to see the photos shot at lower angle though. i.e. Not low enough.

Yep...couldn't agree more with Sumball.
Gotta go further down. My take on a Elbowed Pierrot with the grip attached. C'mon don't let SIAEC down. Last edited by Lion king; 22nd April 2006 at 07:36 PM. |

Cos it's my 1st time doing these so quite inexperienced hehe...Couldn't get any closer cos i wasn't using a dedicated macro lens. Maybe in future should dig my cam right in the sand.

the elbowed pierrot need fill in flash
#2 - the flash is too harsh and you should isolate your subject #3 - best angle of the lot, but crop away the foreground the last one shld be shot at a lower angle the colors of your blue jay looks slightly reddish |
