The cable car and station looks strangely empty. Nice pano.
The pine trees image leading to the hill top is very nice. Very dark place to capture such images. Can almost feel the cool air again.
Any image of the parachuters jumping off?

Suprising the station was packed inside with ppl cos it just started to drizzle and ppl were all warming up inside for kopi and makan. Kinda freaky weather, 16C that day for summer time.
In fact most of the time when I was in Queenstown is rained!

The pine trees were taken when I was going downhill. It felt cold and damp indeed.

I actually walked up to the hill and further up where the parachuters jump off but no one was there cos weather wasn't fantastic for any jumps then.

It was quite interesting watching them jumping off and the 'last-minute' tension/action with the newbies. 2-4 pm is quite a good time to go up to the top. Here are two shots to augment what u missed.

#3 is visually arresting. I keep coming back for more. Your pano shots really reminded me of The Blue Mountains in Australia. Sigh....

My bones are quite fragile.
My skin - quite thin,
Jumping off the hill?
(more like a mountain)
decided without a blink.

Btw, I saw a 70 years old granny doing it. I smile, gave her a sign carry on shooting. If I have jumped, I will have posted the pictures, right?
