Want to make your own pinhole holga? Check out the following website. Instructions in Japanese, photos in international language.
http://pinhole.taken.jp/camera/holga.html. Just to add, if like most mere mortals you don't have a polaroid back for the Holga, the focal length of the camera is likely to be 28-30mm, not 45mm! Another website which you'll probably understand better is http://www.toycamera.com/tech/pinholga.cfm. An alternative place to mount your pinhole and get greater focal length is shown here: http://toc.route196.com/pinhole2/arc...40512_0925.php Need help in calculating optimal pinhole size etc? This is the place to visit http://www.mrpinhole.com/calcpinh.php Do try out and get ready your pinhole Holga for World Pinhole Day, on 30 April! Last edited by rubric; 15th April 2006 at 10:56 PM. |

What I want to know is where I can buy these things cheap, like really really cheap - $10 or under. After all, they are merely plastic toys made in Chine.
If they are cheap enough, one could do lots of experiments with them. They're still ridiculously overpriced in my opinion. BTW, I have had one for the last 7 years and 4 Dianas/Di-clones. |

Same here. Won't it be great to get 10 for $50, or even 5 for $50?!? I have some diana clones too; but they're so fragile I fear they'll get crushed in my bag or just break apart if I drop them. I once dropped a Holga in SBG and the look of horror on people's faces was just priceless!
