Actually sometimes i find JSs rather cute cos like in the pic, they seemed to have those 'eyebrows'.

Very nice lighting + gd details on the spider head. Its easy to blow the highlight with this JS. I learned that the hard way. Looks like you got this one just right.

Hi Ortega. I like the composition of your spiders.

How did you get so close to the spider? I cant seem to have such magnification. Do you crop the pictures or is as is from the camera. Or is it extension tubes. Always wanted to get such high magnification ratio.

my shots are 1:1 magnification with slight crop for better composition.
look for bigger spiders

Very nice there Alex... great pic and compo. Whenever I go macro shooting, takes me ages to find a subject - my eyes are no good, and I think I need more patience. You guys seem to be able to find the subjects so easily.. hehe.
