My file name used to be : IMG_0001 (my first shot)
Lately, I noticed that my file name has become : _MG_2345, _MG_2346, etc. What happen to my IMG.. now became _MG ???? How do I set it back?? I have tried formating the CF still the problem persist.. |

eh, nothing to do with the camera I reckon. It's the software portion where u save and choose how you number off your images.
Are u using camera window? |

Try changing your Colour Space setting in your camera from Adobe to sRGB. Think that will do.

Would this be the way canon use to differentiate Adobe and sRGB?? If so, maybe the underscore doesn't really matter... ![]() |

You are spot on! I've tried and indeed when I changed Colour Space back to sRGB, the name is back to normal. This is interesting, wonder why Adobe RGB will have this problem. ![]() |

The underscore is some file naming convention to help diffrenciate beween the colour spaces. So if you shoot in a mix you will instantly know whcih ones are acutally ARGB and need to be converted later.
