My very first time posting and try at Macro using a Canon D60 and Tokina 100mm Macro f2.8
Any comments and suggestions would be greatly appreciated. By chance this dragon fly landed near me. Hoped all over the place to catch this grasshopper. Peek a Boo Down came a spider...... Thanks for looking. |

some pointers.
1. abit underexposed, might wanna work on the flash... 2. for #2 and #4 might wanna work on the compositioning abit... like #2 can try capturing the grasshopper from the front were you able to get closer to the spider in #4? cuz i took a similar one it filled the whole frame its a st. andrews cross spider if i'm not wrong. |

I like #1 and #3 composition.
Overall, as the rest said, the shots are underexposed. For #2, try to take a side view parallel to the plane of camera or at least facing you. Butt first shots are usually not so appealing.

Hi Metallilan - Tried going closer to the spider but everytime my father and I creep near it it just jumps off the web and hide in the bushes. We had to go back 3 times just to shoot it. Will try again next time. Thanks for your comments.
Hi Mendis - Thanks for your effort to post process the picture. appreciate it very much. I am now trying to get to grips on tking photos and will play around with the Photoshop software that came with the camera a little later. Thanks again. I really appreciate all who have taken time to view my post and given their C & C. I am very grateful. |
