Hi guys,
Got a LF newbie question to ask. If I want to load only 2 of my 10 pieces of 4x5 film into my holder, after I open the box can I simply put the remaining 8 back into the envelope & box then chuck it back in the fridge? Is there a proper procedure for this coz all the literature I read only tell me how to load the film not what to do with the extras. Thanks! Ervine |

Yes, put balance back into the package
into the 3 layer light proof box seal in ziplock bag and chuck back into fridge do not forget to let warm to room temp before you open the ziplock bag next time you take out to load. |

I am not sure if it is necessary to put the opened box back into the fridge, unless of course the next time you use it is like 20 years down the road.
I have opened boxes of film left in ordinary aircond room. And after four months (was trying out other films) the films are still perfectly OK. |
