I see that Apple's reduced the price as well.

Any idea if the new 1.1 will run on my humble 15" PowerBook G4 (1GHz) with 1GB of RAM?

There is an Aperture compatability checker on the apple web site.. if it runs and passes.. then yes.. i have a 12" 1.5ghz powerbook, but no chance of getting it to run on this one unfortunately..
